In 2019, the age-adjusted rate for homicide did not change significantly from 2018. Homicide remains a major issue for some age groups. Homicide was among the 15 leading causes of death in 2019 for age groups under 1 year (13th), 1–4 (4th), 5–14 (5th), 15–24 (3rd), 25–34 (3rd), 35–44 (5th), 45–54 (12th), and 55–64 (15th) (10)."
